DRUTEX S.A, with its registered office in Bytów, is a company established on the initiative and thanks to the business skills of Leszek Gierszewski – the founder and originator of the global success of the DRUTEX brand.

DRUTEX S.A company is a continuation of the business enterprise started by Leszek Gierszewski in 1985 under the name Wytwarzanie Wyrobów z Drutu, Łańcuchów i Sprężyn [Manufacture of Wire, Chain and Spring Products] in Wiklino near Słupsk. In 1991, the company was relocated to Bytów. At the same time, the name of the company was changed to PPUH DRUTEX, referring to the initial phase of business involving the production of chain-link fences, wires, and wire products.
In 1994, DRUTEX launched its first production line of PVC window frames, as well as a semi-automatic production line for glass units. The next stage in the development of DRUTEX was the launch of aluminium profiles in 1999. In the years 2000-2002, DRUTEX' production capacity was consistently expanded by launching further production lines for profiles, glass cutting lines and automatic glass unit production lines. In 2002, the production of wooden window and door frames began.
On 4 November 2002, by the initiative of Leszek Gierszewski, the company was established under the name DRUTEX S.A.
Leszek Gierszewski is currently the sole shareholder of the company.
Currently, after 39 years of operation, DRUTEX S.A is a Polish company with strong local roots but with a global reach, where foreign customers are purchasing more than 80% of the total sales in the financial year. "DRUTEX" is a well-known word and its synonym is "success".
